The book is structured in 4 parts, according to team size. To this, I have added a list of commercially available board games which can prove quite useful to language learning. For each game, I have mentioned the grammar units it is suitable for, which are also included in an index at the end of the book. The examples I have provided are by no means limiting, as each game can be expanded and adapted to suit whatever you wish to teach, further or review. The book also contains a set of illustrations and a game board, which can be used with the instruction I have given, or adapted to suit your classroom environment. I do not claim all these games to be original creations of mine: some are old classics, some are reinterpretations, but all are games that I have tried and tested in my classroom. My students range in age from 19 to over 50, but I envision these games being played quite successfully in high school classrooms.
