The Causative-Inchoative Alternation in Natural Language. A study in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics

Within the framework of Romanian linguistics and beyond, the work stands out, through its synthesis, corpus and results, as an extremely valuable contribution regarding the status of the verbs in question as well as the correlation between the lexical-semantic and syntactic aspects that are relevant not only to Romanian and other Romance languages, but also to linguistic theory in general. The work is undoubtedly the most thorough analysis of causative and inchoative verbs in Romanian linguistics.
